Starting with questions in biology,
exploring through computing.

I completed a dual undergraduate major in computer science and biology at Georgia Tech, then pursued a master’s degree in bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

My experience spans molecular genetics experiments, bioinformatics analysis, AI agents, knowledge retrieval, and software development. I focus on connecting research questions, experimental data, and reproducible computational workflows.

Selected work

From research software to experimental observations.

C10 system components and tool-generation chain
The C10 architecture connects the tool library, Orchestrator, Scraper/Generator/Validator, and GitHub, Web, and Paper retrieval sub-agents.

C10: A multi-agent workflow system for biological research

AI / AgentBioinformaticsSoftware engineering

For synthetic biology researchers with limited programming experience, the system turns natural-language analysis requests into tool retrieval, capability creation, validated execution, and result delivery, making research tasks across tools more accessible.

URA3 insertion design: NSE2 plasmid, URA3 fragment, and recombinant plasmid
The URA3 insertion design shows the construction relationships among the NSE2 plasmid, URA3 fragment, and recombinant plasmid, highlighting the insertion site and fragment combination.

NSE2/NSE3 of the Smc5/6 complex and genome stability

Wet lab

Using budding yeast as a model, explored how the NSE2/NSE3 subunits of the Smc5/6 complex contribute to repeat-sequence stability, addressing abnormal structures, replication obstacles, and chromosomal rearrangements associated with palindromic DNA.
